Do We Compete Update
Several years ago I wrote a blog about competition. How we compete. How we were and still are driven by rank, by numbers, by accomplishment, and by our leadership team's nature to be the best. At the time of that entry, our company (then Logo Chair Inc.) was #7 in the non-apparel world. Since then, things have changed.

They did their best to prepare me. I kept hearing things like, “It’s going to be crazy” and “you have to experience it to understand.” I had been working at Logo Brands all of two weeks when the annual Warehouse Sale came around. Like with most anything else new, I was curious as to what to expect.

I had requested the email but once I started reading it, I was sad, frustrated and absolutely mad. The rep had sent me a 30,000-foot recap of the last six months from one of our partner’s perspectives. It was ugly. The whole thing was a complete opposite description of what I desire about our company. I read about being late, product being defective, wrong logos on certain items and what seemed to be a lack of attention/concern for the customer.
